Here is the thing - its not that Cher is the worst singer or entertainer (though she aint that great),
but,
its because there is a large scale contempt for her.

Maybe it is, just as much, contempt for the judges picking and praising on her,
but,
there is a strong 'Anti-Cher' sentiment alive and well.

Tip: Pay attention to the public opinion and not who you think are your favourites IF you want to predict who may go.

Agreed and that may partially explain how we sometimes get seemingly strange results in these things,
but,
Cher (i predict) is going to have a lot of people who do pick (anyone else) than her numbers.

Maybe one thing that helps Cher is that she doesn't really have a clearly defined 'rival' or 'opposite' who you can vote FOR as a way to fight Cher (so to speak)

In some way you could almost pick Mary as the 'Opposite Cher' but somehow it doesn't come off that way at all.

All I know is that I hear a lot of negative things about Cher though out the week. Wow a lot of people DO NOT like her.

i think aiden might be in trouble if he does another poor performance, if he gets over the whole mentally ill look and sings well he'll be safe though. Belle amie will be in the bottom three guaranteed and wagner, well it's hard to tell with the joke acts but I don't hold out much hope for him, he's played all his cards plus bad press. I don't think katie has much else to offer either. It's not easy to tell at this stage, so many weak acts this year.

I am always wrong anyway but that's my hope for this week.

Paije was my 3rd for the bottom 3 but following the news of his Grandmothers death, I think he will get a fair sympathy vote this week and an easy ride from the judges so it may be that Wagner finds himself in the last 3 as the novelty is wearing off now.

I'd be inclined to say Belle Amie will be safe because most acts generally get a boost in votes the week after they've been in the bottom two; but because it's a bottom three I think they may well be back in there in the sing off.
