Load of twaddle that pets sense 'ghosts' ? Load of twaddle that ghosts exist anyway?

My cat has properly freaked me out tonight. Simply because he is totally freaking out about absolutely nothing in the bedroom. I'm talking arched back, fur on end, tail looks like a loo brush and he's totally refusing to go in without me. There is nothing in there that would possible spook him.

Anyone else had odd experiences that can't be explained? Pet related or otherwise

I've had some very odd experiences. Quickly was once seeing a light literally walk past a door when I was at a very low ebb.

I've seen ghosts myself so I firmly believe they do exist, won't go into details but yeah.

Also Gaz's old cat used to totally freak us out, he would stand at the bottom of the stairs just staring up at nothingness, hackles up and everything...for like ages, just staring. No reason for it at all, and it's also the same house where I saw stuff too so yeah it figures.

Give him a cuddle Kerry, that should snap him out of it.

They can certainly sense change in weather, like when a storm is coming and stuff like that, my dog's goes schitzy, something to do with the pressure changing or something.

I believe in ghosts or something akin to them. Yes, I can hear a fair few of you laugh but I'm convinced that's there's areas of existence that we simply don't have a fecking clue about.

Lazy

Yeah I believe in Ghosts and spirits. And I buy into the theory that some animals can sense them. They have a different logic and brain to us, so maybe some pick them up or see them (because they see different colours or black and white, maybe that is why they can see them, yet we can't?)

I believe in other 'beings' just not exactly sure what. I guess you'd say I'm spiritual but not religious

I do believe in ghosts because I'm sure I've seen them before. In my house and in other people's. My dog always barks at nothing, maybe it is to do with ghosts or something I don't know..

My dog was fine (though she was in another room) but my cat didn't settle for ages. Fine today thankfully though talking about it to my daughter I was reminded that she thought she actually saw a ghost once in her room  She was dancing and saw something reflected in the window walk behind her!

My dog growls and sometimes the hair on her back goes up too as if she can see or sense something, I get a bit freaked out if im in the house alone and she does it.

When I was younger I use to stay with my sister a lot my nephew who was 3 at the time use to talk to someone when no one else was in the room with him, if any of us asked him who he was talking to, he would say "the man with the black hat", that used to terrify me

All the hairs have just gone up on the back of my neck

I love hearing ghost stuff though. No horror film balls, 'real' stuff

I felt spooked but oddly calm. Plus it always makes me laugh asto why people feel safer hiding under/behind stuff. It's like when people close their eyes or cover their faces. Why? Whatever will still be there :laugh2:

Another freaky happening. A beaker in the early hours just randomly fell in my bathroom. No one about. No drafts to knock it. Nothing. Just me laid quiet in bed and I heard it hit smack into the bottom of the bath

My cat does often seem to stare wide-eyed at nothing, although I dont think they can sense ghosts or anything like that. I'm a bit of a cynic when it comes to stuff like that actually, personally I dont believe ghosts exist at all.

In the past a lot but no one that would frighten me. Maybe it's where my house is built or something  Things have gone missing too. Not things you'd imagine too. But stuff like plates :conf: totally unexplained

My mums dog goes crazy when where my nanas chair was or in the room which was her bedroom (my mum got the house). Its really weird, she never behaves that way anywhere else but her fur stands on end and she starts growling at nothing

We think my nana haunts our house anyway, around her birthday/anniversary things just happen like the door slammed shut on her birthday and the handle fell off locking us in. she was a mischevious old get anyway and told us she'll haunt us when shes dead and shes done that good and proper. she was a heavy smoker and smoke was coming from where her chair was one time (mother and her toyboy dont smoke)

After my grandad had a housefire in 2005 whenever we visited we had to stay in the good room (there is 2 living rooms but the one that was used everyday was destroyed so we would have to go to the nicer living room for like guests and stuff), anyway it took about 5/6 months to get the normal living room, livable again. My grandads cat wasnt allowed in the house for the first 6 months or so because she is a wild cat, and my grandad was scared she would like freak out because she was in a different room and break everything or something. Anyway, when the living room was finished and the cat was allowed back in she would like sit in the spot where my grandmother died. I think she knew she was gone but didnt know where, so when we went into the kitchen she would follow us and sit by the door (that lead into the good room) so we opened it to see what she would do, and she went and jumped right where my grandma used to sit. I dont know how she would know, but its kind of relaxing in a way.

The other day we took that cat upstairs (just to see what she would do) and she stopped and stared at this spot where Ive seen something walking into my grandads room before. It was daytime when I saw it happen, and daytime when the cat was upstairs. Its just all so weird. I was trying not to look where that cat was looking because I didnt want to see anything :blush2:
