They don't need the word 'Channel' in the logo - even when it was Channel 5 before, the logo was just a 5. There is nothing wrong with their current branding.

Except that branding was done by the previous owners :p It's too early to judge the logo, as we haven't seen it on screen yet (apparently it will launch on screen in January)

If the colour wasn't so red, it would already make the logo so much better. And maybe if it just outlined the white writing and number with a thick width.

It just looks like a generic American TV channel logo. I don't think it's gonna make people want to tune in.

All we need now is Big Brother 12 UK and for them to ditch that Studio Wank thing.

I like the name C5.

I HATE the logo.

For me it looks like they got it backwards,

The FIVE Logo should of been used as the new one if you get me it's bright and stuff.

The C5 Logo looks older.

Patrick at the time The Spice Girls were the BIGGEST music act in the UK so it was very high profile launch. I love this advert anyway.

I know how big they were, but they were still sh*te IMO.

I love how at the time of it's launch it pulled in 1.7 million bless them.

I would love for a new channel to launch though like so we could all watch it and have some big opening though.

Could be something to do with half of the UK not being able to receive it, that's what really gave the channel a kick in the teeth
