Get George Lamb out! :D
Questions are quite easy tonight - I've still got my initial million after 7 questions...
Same.
Salford isn't part of Manchester, thats one of my biggest gripes
Salford is its own city and was there before Manchester, Manchester came later and is right next door to Salford. doesn't help that Salford is in the Greater Manchester county
Patrick
29-10-2010, 09:47 PM
Omg he said 'you say?'
umfg.
oh and another thing about the Salford thing, its called City of Salford whilst the rugby team is called Salford City Reds!
Kerry
29-10-2010, 09:52 PM
Hah they mucked that up
Kerry
29-10-2010, 09:53 PM

Perfect timing and a win - oh how convenient
And surprise surprise - the first celebrity couple playing for charity win some money
Questions were a bit harder than I thought they'd be though
First contestants to win something...and they were celebrities :p
That was great though, can't wait for next week :D

and the last couple of this mini series
In the Drunk Tank
29-10-2010, 10:24 PM
First time I've seen this, it was quite good actually :)
Perfect timing
That's a good point too
Far too long a wait for the next episode though - they so should have had two weeks of five episodes
The remaining four episodes are all 100minutes long (officially, though some will probably over-run) airing between 10pm and 11.20pm on Friday 5th, Saturday 6th, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th Nov

Right conspiracy theory time, how perfect was the timing on that show tonight? It may have ran over slightly but it was even billed for 11.20 as apposed to the normal finishing time of 11.10. I doubt the show was live tonight because I don't think George and Larry's schedule would allow them to come back next week which is another bone of contention even the fact it's not on til next Friday. Anyone bhind my mad theory?

It was billed as 11:20 so that if they needed the extra time it was there. The same happened at the end of last series. Infact I seem to remember the last episode of the last series finishing at around 11:40. You can't make contestants wait a week either - which is why the extra time was given.
If you're interested, here's a round up of the Week 1 ratings:
Monday: 2.02m - C4 1.91m (10.7%), C4+1 111,000 (1.1%)
Tuesday: 2.27m - C4 2.07m (11.6%), C4+1 198,000 (2%)
Wednesday: 2.29m - C4 2.07m (11.2%), C4+1 221,000 (2.3%)
Thursday: 2.18m - C4 1.95m (11%), C4+1 232,000 (2.4%)
Friday: 2.71m (15.4%), C4 and C4+1
So last night's show is the highest rating out of both series so far - quite amazing considering it was a late extended show

It wont be Murray surely
Before I forget, last nights show got 2.08million viewers - 1.87m (10.7%) on C4, 211k (1.9%) on C4+1
Not bad considering the running time and slot but clearly George and Larry boosted it a bit
