If you're eating and something gross is on TV can you carry on eating happily? Or if someone mentions something yuk? Or does it put you right off?

Many chef says 50% of what you eat is 'through your eyes' and it's very true. Food has to look attractive to eat it. Not always of course. I know of people who love tripe *vomits* but are you actively put off eating by other things?

I definitely eat with my eyes and get turned off food very easily if it doesn't look right

I can eat through most things.

But if I saw someone be sick while I was eating I would have to stop :yuk:

It really doesn't bother me. I ate chocolate ice cream whilst watching 2 girls 1 cup once

The only thing that does bother me is eating when someone is throwing up (though not necessarily on TV). usually nights out

Depends what it is with me. Most things don't bother me but vomit and stuff would turn me off

Nope I struggle to eat when something gross is on the TV.

I never eat when I'm watching something that involves another human eating a Kangaroo's testicle or sticking their head in a bowl of fish guts.

Id stop, look away then continue.

But if it was like sick, and I was eating something like soap which had bits in, Id probably be put off it completely.

Bizarre ER is a tricky one if you're late night snacking....

I can't, just can't physically eat when something gross is on TV, I'll literally vomit it straight back up.

Have you ever seen Bizarre ER? Think it's on BBC3? It's a fly on the wall type thing showing gross injuries

No I haven't, sounds interesting. Is it still on now or has the series finished, if so when and at what time ?

My mum and I change the tv as there's always a hint that something disgusting is going to happen. When I'm at my mums nobody is allowed to go to the toilet when she's eating, or talk about anything disgusting. Which is weird because my father is a doctor and when they were together he talked about diarhea and lots of other things on the table.

They usually have runs of 10 or 12 in a series. Plus show loads of repeats. Usually gone midnight. I've not seen it on for about 2 or 3 weeks now but if you check out late night BBC3 now and again theres bound to be repeats

Awwww bugger, just looked and nothing is available or planned at the moment and the last in the series was just a few days ago on the 13th..... but I bet it's on YouTube :D

I'm very very easily put off my food...

I could eat my dinner whilst watching an operation, blood deosn't bother me.

I could NEVER eat whilst watching I'm a Celebrity or anything like that,or even if there's a nature programme on and there is insects or fish on it then that's food time over for me.

Also anything about death or dead people puts me off.. I couldn't eat my dinner one night as I watched a programme about Egypt and mummies were mentioned (they didn't go into detail re the mummification process, but they were being spoken about)

I have a thing about trying not to think about snails and slugs when I'm eating too.. God I feel sick just thinking about them.. :)

Eating live bugs/animals is very sickening to me.

Gore is fine though.
