You should have seen what it looked like when I did it. I can tell you now it was not pretty. My left kneecap had moved like an inch out of place to the left. It was gruesome.

I'd see the doctor bout it. It could be calcium deposits, my Mum has that, she gets really sharp pains and its hard for her to go up stairs and stuffs.

Hot and cold works a treat with any injury like that. Chuck ice on it for awhile, then dip it into some hot water for another wee while.

Oh and when they were wheeling me out to the ambulance, we went over a bump in the pavement and my kneecap snapped back in place.

I know right? My muscles around my knee kept convulsing so the pain was real bad :(
How far out did you kneecap go? Mine was only around and inch or so.

had full dislocation so my knee cap was right out to left of leg (to point it almost snapped ligaments etc)

Ouch :( guess you were pretty lucky you didn't snap any ligaments then. My injury is like nothing compared to yours! And plus I only actually screwed it up by turning around awkwardly lol! :joker:

I feel relieved to only have a sprained ankle after these horror stories involving kneecaps.
