Reasons why you disbelieve the JJJ fauxmance.

Why do I disbelieve there so called romance?

JJ slipped up on the documentary by saying, "This is my room" and had to be corrected by Josie.

Jose had knock on the door to 'their' bedroom before entering !!:hugesmile:

JJ cringes every time she tries to kiss him

JJ never initiates any physical touches - EVER.

Okay, there's my starter.

could it be possibly because we all lost count of how many times he told everyone, including Josie, that he did not see her 'in that sense', as a good friend but nothing more.

Suddenly changed his tune when Rach 2 came into the house, spilled the beans and with a bit of prodding from Sam and co.. yep, suddenly the mikes were off and the fauxmance blossomed.

this coming from the man who says he hated liars, hated them. Josie being the very thing he hates - a liar, and a self confessed liar at that!

In a way, they both speak such bolloks, they do have that common bond between them. Common being the operative word.

How about the hours worth of footage where they're cuddling and kissing and saying cute things and looking at each other. They said things like 'I'm going to love you forever now' 'I'll like whatever makes you happy,that's what you do when you love someone' 'It's such a nice feeling waking up next to the person you're excited to see'. They constantly said 'I love you so much' and 'I care about you' all the time.

John moved half way across the world to be with her. And doubters may say it's for the money,but John already has plenty of money,he wouldn't move away from all his friends and family just for a bit of money.

Speaking of friends and family,all of them believe it. I known people who have met their friends and family and they all believe they're real. They said John and Josie's families toasted them in a pub,how John's mum told them they were watching BB when Josie was still in there and John started crying when Josie did. All John's friends are always tweeting Josie and Josie's sisters love John.

There's all the stories you guys don't hear about. Like one guy met John and he had come over from America to be with his fiancee and John asked him why he was there and he went 'Fell in love,you know how it is' and John went 'Yeah I do'<3. Or the people I know who accidentally ended up 2 rooms down from them in a hotel when John was doing a PA and they said they were all lovey-dovey and they kept looking at each other like they were so in love. Or John's 6ft manly manager saying he gets pissed off when people call them fake cos they're the most real thing ever.

I could go on and on but I have a feeling you're just going to find some fault in all my reason. People don't live together or have a relationship or manage to 'fool' all their friends and family for a bit of money. They're not Oscar-winning actors,they're real people who happened to fall in love in Big Brother and because of this they're getting called fake. Believe what you want on the little that you know. Me,I'd rather be fluffy to be honest.

There's a thought. Perhaps if that's still an 'issue' for Josie, I wonder if her newly found vigour for exercising, keeping fit, getting into shape for her money spinning Fitness DVD :joker: - might come from eating such foods!!!

Ach, It was a long shot, I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt there, but I succumb to the fact that it's down to poor personal hygiene.

Another reason why I fail to accept there is a romance. Given JJ's thing for being clean, neat and tidy - I could never imagine him having sex with a female that had hygience problems to the point he had to point it out to her (ie: telling her repeatedly that she needed to take a shower). and that's me giviing him the huge benefit of doubt that he is bi/hetro. :blush:

Another reason I don't believe the showmance is because of all the My Bedroom / Spare Bedroom/ My Bathroom explanations... and when in the 'documentary' where Josie goes to His darkened Bedroom to ask if he's going to join her for the fitness training in the park, there is a dressing gown hanging on the door of a room she passes. I've said it many times before, we all viewed this differently for whatever reason and never the twain will meet. I do think if you didn't like one or both of them you're not likely to believe the romance either, however it's all conjecture at this point. I can no more prove my side of the argument than you can. Valid evidence exists on both sides, which we have all looked at extensively. However, I am still interested in being proven wrong and challenging my view on this.

I agree that Caoimhe was not Josie's finest hour ;) She was bitten by the jealous fairy IMO and she did say so herself at the time. No idea what happened at the wrap party between her and Josie but Mario did say in a Twitcam that it was Caoimhe that was thrown out...

I did find John James a bit fascinating tbh. I'll admit that I fancied him a bit, but that honestly would not have kept me interested for all that time. I did question his interest in Josie while they were in the house, and at times wondered what his game was, but in the end I came to the conclusion that it was real.

Well no I don't mind them but some do have a nasty habit of turning threads into a slagging match and having them pulled which I find intensely annoying. They don't appear to be able to grasp the concept that people have their own opinions on the Golden couple and these opinions are sometimes negative, them being fake being the main one. I've been onto the JJJAT thread out of curiosity and it truly is a scary place sometime and the surprising thing is these are not teenagers with a pubescent crush but adults with teenagers of their own, I've never come across anything like it.

Their blind refusal to see faults with either Skippy or the Bristol bruiser is quite disturbing. Take John James for example and his treatment of the females in the house, particularly Rachel. His behaviour towards that young woman was abhorrant and then the utter hypocrisy of the man when he left the house is astonishing. Do they mention this ugly side to the weasel..nope not a word.

Do they even acknowledge the fact that he looks like he's about to be physically sick when ever she gets intimate with him, that would be no. Instead they serve up endless clips they have spent hours even days pouring over again and again as evidence of their love when in fact IMHO it shows the complete opposite.

I just pray that there isn't going to be an alleged series about them, although with their "fame" fading fast it's getting more and more unlikely

My point was that all these posters in this forum hated John James and Josie's guts. They wanted them evicted and never seen again. Could not stand them. I'm not saying you can't do anything. Merely pointing out that spending nearly a whole series of BB whinging about someone ruining the series for you and wanting to see the back of them and then for months after the shows ended you actually check what they're writing on twitter and what they're up to means there is a JJJ fan inside you. I can also assure you that I neither have the desire to or have ever checked out anything they've said on Twitter. You might want to get your facts straight before making sweeping statements about forum members.

What I have done is give my opinion on whether I think the Romance between them is real or fake as the title of this thread suggested. I don't take it seriously because to be honest I couldn't give a flying ***** if their real or not, its not going to affect my life one bit. I do however like to have some banter and discussion with both like minded souls and others who disagree with my view as long as its constructive and good natured.

The point of the Hitler reference was that we don't always only talk about people/things that we like.
I didn't spend the entire summer giving out about them or wanting them evicted, either. I thought they were the best pish taking fodder I've come across in a long, long time. Poor Frilly. hey, be assured in the comfort that when a person needs to send insulting / vile pms to another person all over a contestant on a BB show, I think that's highly indicative of who has the 'issues' (for want of a better phrase!) LOL.

I think that's really why I wanted to add my voice to the few on there. The comment made that there were only a select few people who disbelieve made me want to join and say that if I existed out there reading that thread in agreement with the doubters, there would be many more like me. Indeed, the majority of my non-forum minded friends think it's all a media sham but would never join a forum to voice that fact.

I'm not sure though that moderating my opinion had much to do with my account deletion though as, like I say, I hadn't even had the chance to write a single word anywhere before they deleted my account. They really would have had no idea what kind of poster I would have been! I have written to them asking why as no reason was given but don't expect a reply.

It's actually pretty exasperating seeing some of the things being said about the doubters on there but not being able to pipe up in reply! I should just stop reading but a lot of people are making a lot of sense for me in that thread.

Some interesting debates going on about JJ's hypocrisy in regards to Rachel and her entering the BB house for the sole purpose of mag deals when the first thing he did upon leaving the house was let em pencil in some crap looking Abs and pose half naked for OK magazine! Well I can only speak for myself but I have never said I hated them, I've never said I wanted them evicted, like them or dislike them they played their part in the Big Brother Soap Opera, I also did not spend the whole of the summer whinging about them, I had far better things to do with my time. I can also assure you that I neither have the desire to or have ever checked out anything they've said on Twitter. You might want to get your facts straight before making sweeping statements about forum members.

What I have done is give my opinion on whether I think the Romance between them is real or fake as the title of this thread suggested. I don't take it seriously because to be honest I couldn't give a flying ***** if their real or not, its not going to affect my life one bit. I do however like to have some banter and discussion with both like minded souls and others who disagree with my view as long as its constructive and good natured.

I respect your opinion and of course your entitled to it, I would however disagree that its odd for people to talk or vent about something that they dislike or disagree with, surely thats human nature? Come on admit it even you must like a good old moan about something thats peed you off now and again

There still seem to be instances of people taking it rather seriously though. I mean, the thread is hilarious for the most part with both JJJ fans and doubters providing the comedy value yet there still seem to be people who seem rather too sensitive about what total strangers on an internet forum think of their heroes.

One of the disadvantages to not being able to log-in is not being able to hide particular people's posts so I can only imagine your frustration at having to see them anyway. It all seemed rather angry and "baity" to me. Not a real word but you catch my drift!

I don't see chemistry, you don't see chemistry and almost all of the prosecution don't see chemistry. Never have and never will and yet they come with more clips and then even more clips. There are head locks there are swerving manovours that Mohamad Ali in his prime would have been proud of and then there is the time she finally rugby tackles him and he attempts to mount her....well its more of a going for the three second pin in a wrestling match but we'll give JJ the benefit of the doubt on that one......but not one bit of chemistry between the pair.

I honesty think the reason that some are getting arsey (well one person in particular) is because deep down they can see where we are coming from and they are really struggling to find anything to back their claim. The clips are quite frankly laughable as proof of a passionate love affair. I like you couldn't really give a damn if its real or not an I certainly have no emotional investment in them. The fact that some do to the extent that they actually get quite rude with another forum member is quite scary and as you say they really need to go away and have a strong word with themselves.

You could be right - I mean if you have invested so much of your time and energy watching something and having an emotional attachment then I guess it would be upsetting if you found out it was all a big showmance.

Yeah I missed all the action myself, app a few people from the AT thread attempted to to derail the thread and it actually got taken down for a while, cue much merryment on the AT thread and via twitter apparantly. Well the AT were then threatened with the Ban Hammer and the Court thread was reinstated so hopefully it'll all calm down and the fun can continue. Without going over ten pages of this thread, my take on it is this.

I believe Josie truly believes she is in love with John James, but there is something not completely relaxed behind her smile on Live From Studio 5 the other afternoon. There is something she knows that we don't. Whether she knows deep down her love is not reciprocated or not I can't tell, but by 'reading' her face there is something more to it than she wants people to know. That just my personal opinion and it might be very different to yours.

I wish that we knew what is making her look uncomfortable in that smile cub, it's my belief that she's been wearing it for ages. I don't believe she would ever be in a situation she hadn't chosen though. I don't think she's a victim against her making, I saw that she knew what it was and went for it anyway.

I dunno, something doesn't sit right with her. If I ever saw a girl who rules the roost it's her. I don't think she is in love. I think she knew that a whole bunch of people in the UK would fall in love with her falling in love with him. She may or may not have fallen for her own contrived scenario, believing it to be true...I don't know, my own mum is a lot like that. But I do not believe for one second that she hasn't known from the start what the score was. Either she then decided to play it for all it was worth or she just played the British public for all they were worth.
