His premature departure from the house kinda ruined BB for me this year to be honest.. He was really the only one who made me laugh. He was hysterical in fact!

The house was the sadder for him going but as someone pointed out on here last night, BB was negatively portraying him, other housemates were winding him up, which he handles with great dignity,however mentally it must have been starting to take its toll.

If medals were given out for the best and dignified way of dealing with verbal hostilities by a housemate/s then for his dealings with Jjames and Mario too, Ben should have been given loads of them.

Yeah he is very unaware of how funny he is... In fact he seem to be unaware of most of his positive qualiteies. I really don't think he realises how charismatic, humourous and endearing he actually is, which to me is a very positive trait in itself!

It died for me too - stopped watching apart from eviction show and when Ben went back in. Only dipped in and out of final to see Ben and the start of UBB - which I watched. Ben was the most popular housemate on the other place right up till he left and had the biggest following - you wouldn't know that though with the way the forum was controlled.......:nono:

I was disappointed the Ben was evicted, but I had spent the day preparing myself for it. The twitter mob really had their claws out, not even counting the scamming tweets, so I thought there was a good chance that Ben would be going.

On the other hand, I was kind of happy because of the atmostphere in the house, Ben wasn't having the greatest time with the lack of sleep, plus we would get to see Ben on all the BB sister shows, interviews and all kinds of out-of-house goodies which we got. Imagine if he lasted to the final? A five second interview on BBLB and that would have been about it! No web chat. No Ben looking for Shirley! No Beninem! No The Ben Show :)

I threw quite a few votes Mario's way because I had no idea what a bitter twisted individual he would turn out to be ... I still thought he was a someone who had warm feeling towards Ben ... a large proportion of the votes he received would have been cast for the same reason ... he may well have been 5th without the Ben connection ...

That comment that he made about Ben fans baiting his supporters and calling us all "idiots" really offended me. Firstly because I don't remember us going into his Appreciation thread and insulting him, like his fans did to Ben. Secondly as you say, many of us wanted him to win even voted for him in fact. After Ben left the house, he said plenty of nice things about Mario. I remember listening to his first vital radio interview, and Ben was saying how he had regrets in the house and the sweetest and most wonderful things about Mario. Of course, the day after that interview, Mario started slagging off Ben to his fans on DS.

Of course Ben fans were going to rant about it. Most of us were blowing of steam. It could have blown over by now, however, Mario has obviously taken a hit to his ego which has sustained his bitterness, and has actually extended his petty behaviour to Ben fans in general by making snide remarks and acting superiour. That says more about him than anyone else, and quite frankly what it says isn't great.

I was more or less indifferent to meh about him as a housemate. I dislike him so much now as a person. I don't like people who hold grudges and are ungracious. Mario was no angel in the house, so he really has no right to hold grudges and act like he's pure as the driven snow. And I don't like HMs asking fans for money which is such a dodgey thing to do (unless it's ALL for charity - and I'm not saying this as a tool to beat Mario with, I disagreed when Pepper asked for a quid from everyone, and I was a huge Pepper fan.) Most of the time I like the HMs more when they're out of the house, Mario is one of the few exceptions.

The only sad person in this thread is possibly you. This is a Ben fan thread and you just can't resist - you spy and report back to keep this anti feeling going and you wonder why some people blow off steam. Trust me the quality of "Ben fan" is so far superior, and I am sure that is why they can have a laugh and not take things to the petty extreme levels of Mario.

Most of the time I like the HMs more when they're out of the house, Mario is one of the few exceptions.

Ben is a much nicer and kinder person than Mario could ever be. He moved on straight away - unfortunately Mario hasn't. His behaiour since leaving has put many people off him - it has nothing to do with Ben.
