It is reported that upcoming Saturday’s theme will be rock and it is also claimed that the week after will see a boy-band themed show. Each act will be allowed to choose their own tracks for both shows, as long as they fit with the overall theme.

So, with these themes in mind, what songs do you think Rebecca should consider?

Just because one week suits One direction. Other themes are more suited to other acts. And anyways they dont need help in these early weeks. Theyll coast to the last couple of weeks.

The boyband theme is more about having TT, JLS and Westloif on I think.

Theme weeks are crazy anyway. Very few are loyal to the actual theme.

LOL, apparently the theme is "Rock/Ballads/Madonna" !

Mary Byrne is said to have revealed on RTE radio that the theme has been changed to ballads, while a source told Metro that it would be Madonna and Michael Jackson songs.

It’s all a bit confusing!

I do hope the bit about them choosing they're own songs is true though, I think that will benefit Matt and Aiden big time, they did fantastically well when they were auditioning and picking they're own

Thank you for this info.

I'd love to hear Rebecca's version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird"... otherwise anything by Kings of Leon if she prefers something more current.

EDIT
Just noticed, according to official page:
http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/music/viewer/read_sneak-preview-of-tonights-songs_item_100911.htm

Tonight, Rebecca will sing Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love"
Adele covered this track beautifully.
