Ke$ha's "We R Who We R" is set to become just the 17th song to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 when the chart is officially released tomorrow (Nov. 4).

The track is the preview single from Ke$ha's forthcoming "Cannibal" album, set to be released on its own on Nov. 22 in addition to being packaged with her debut album, "Animal," in a deluxe edition titled "Animal Cannibal."

"We R Who We R" shifts 280,000 downloads in its initial week at retail, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to easily rank at No. 1 on Digital Songs, knocking Far*East Movement's "Like a G6" (178,000, down 13%) to No. 2 on both that chart and the Hot 100. "Like a G6" topped the latter list for the past two weeks and had led Digital Songs for three non-consecutive frames.

Ke$ha's track is also making an swift impact at radio, debuting at No. 49 on Radio Songs (up 81%) and jumping 36-23 on Pop Songs (up 124%).

"We R Who We R" is the second title this year to start its chart life at No. 1, following Eminem's "Not Afraid" in May. Prior to Eminem's debut, Britney Spears had been the last artist to enter at No. 1, with "3" in October 2009.

Ke$ha is no stranger to the top of the Hot 100. Earlier this year she became the 11th solo female to collect at least four Billboard Hot 100 top 10s from a debut album. First single "TiK ToK" topped the chart for nine weeks starting with the Hot 100 dated Jan. 2, 2010, followed by "Blah Blah Blah" (No. 7), "Your Love Is My Drug" (No. 4) and "Take It Off" (No. 8). In addition to those titles, Ke$ha had a top 10 appearance on 3OH!3's "My First Kiss" (No. 9) in May.

America really love Ke$ha!

Love that song, too catchy.

This. She wrote it about those gay kids that committed suicide too so it has meaning to it.

Was it too expensive for her to put 4 extra letters in the title ? "We are who we are"
I can definitely say that the song is ghetto based on its title lol

I hate all of these GaGa/other contemporary popstar fans who delude themselves into thinking that tolerance is now brave and inspirational. It's a norm we should be striving to, not a coveted title to celebrate frankly opportunistic popstars with.

I don't doubt Ke$ha, or whoever, is tolerant - but they are leading a blind generation of insecure teenagers into a false world of universal acceptance and beauty. Do you really think Lady GaGa is there for you? Is she going to hold your hand whilst you get judgmental glances on the bus? No, she's making money off your bloody naïveté.

But I'm gunna listen to GaGa's 'Born This Way' and no one can ever touch me! U GET THAT?!

I'm kidding, many artists have been supportive and that's great, but they all have ulterior motive - making money on people's insecurities.

Kesha is part of the whole "It Gets Better" campaign and she made this song in conjunction. It's the thought that counts.

No of course - I commend her for being involved in it - but she isn't inspirational or meaningful for just being tolerant.
