Apart from the vacuous and talentless Catherine Tate, this show verged on the brilliant, mainly due to the presence of the irrepressible Joan Rivers but also to the contribution of the legendary Johnny Knoxville - the humour was, naturally, coarse, but also self-deprecating, and had me "in stitches" ..... :joker:

The Graham Norton Show shed nearly 300k viewers on Friday night, according to the latest overnight audience data.

The chatshow mustered 2.97m (18.4%) from 10.35pm, slightly below what Friday Night With Jonathan Ross was averaging before it ended this year.
