MATT vs. REBECCA

Hot 2 favourites, both shoe-in for the final at the moment and pretty much liked by all, but who is your favourite?

HARD. Right now Id say Matt as hes the best male singer ever on 1 of these shows imo, but if he carries on doing the same thing Imma change to Rebecca. Both gonna do well after the show regardless. :D

Between those 2 only, Rebecca overall but just, this week Matt was by far the best on the show though.

Aiden is my favourite but Matt and Rebecca are very close also.Those 3 to me are superb.

Loved him from the 1st audition all the way through so Matt for me though I do enjoy Rebecca's voice

I would love to hear her do an album but would prefer her to stay away from cheesy pop and do something more blues inspired to match that smokeyness of her voice. if she did this I could actually imagine myself listening to it at home quite a lot (and i NEVER say that usually)

i agree that they also lack in star quality,even though i think that both of them should make the top 4 i want them to be 3rd and 4th as i think aiden and paije have more stage pressence and are really good singers.

I don't think it's even just his appearance - he's clearly got a very female fanbase because he always sings love ballads, very popular ones at the moment as well. You can almost hear the gushing.

I think Rebecca will have more success as I can see her making a soul/jazz type album that will have great easy listening appeal with a classic sound. Its a niche market.

Whereas I think they will try and make Matt some kind of mainstream popstar and give him the wrong songs for his voice. He doesnt have popstar looks or personality. He's more MOR james blunt type. If he wins then waits 9 months to release I think he'll be forgotten and flop.

That is a tough choice. They are both in a whole different league than any of the others.
At this moment, based on the last performances... Rebecca just won me over a little more.
The difference is slight.

Rebecca since her first televised audition has been the slow burner who now is being taken seriously, by viewers and music insiders.
But it's not just out of these two.....One Direction and Cher are up there as well in terms of fans if not quality.
