Of course you're right. There's nothing at all wrong with it. The point of the post, perhaps too subtly posited, is that they are being hailed as visions of originality. They really - really - are not; by any considered musical comparison. I've said before that the two girls themselves are hardly responsible for this drivel. It's mostly the judges, and in particular Tweedy and Cowell. I do despair, however, when younger fans who clearly have a narrow scope of reference fall for this lazy posturing.

But since you are my Brain and I am yours, you know the answer - also: less time is spent acknowledging and promoting their favourites, in lieu of slagging off people who don't agree - I've never quite understood that. If I was a huge fan of Katie or Cher, I'd be enthusing about why I was a fan, what I saw in them, how their singing affected me, how i felt their performances were, how well they interacted or not with the audience.

It started off with pics of them together - not much text mind - but then disintegrated, once again, into a series of horrible digs at Rebecca's appearance. I really don't get this at all. Firstly, because Rebecca is such a lady and would take a 25 mile detour rather than offend anyone, I'd guess. Also, the vitriol towards Rebecca seems to be coming from her stable mates' fans. What's that about :conf: Matt, Aiden and Paije's fans seem to have spent most of the day canvassing for votes for each other; which is very impressive.
