Yeah, I can take a bottle of beer now and then.. but that's it really. I'm a lightweight. If I drink 2 bottles of beer, I'm tipsy/drunk! So, that's why I don't bother! Plus, I'm loud enough without drink!

I loved Nicola as well, i really liked her game. She was one of the first people on there from Liverpool who was loud but still didn't make me cringe watching them.

It was great today because Richard was on,and the banker offered him £25,000 plus £5,000 for Andrew from yesterday !! He was persuaded by the other players not to take it as he still had the two big boxes in play. Noel described the banker as evil. Then the £100k box went but with the £250k left the banker offered £30,000 and a seperate cheque of £5000 to do what ever he wanted with. He dealt ,so Andrew will get £5000 now.:thumbs:

BigSister
12-02-2007, 09:15 PM
yeah i saw that today as well on the repeat though glad thta richard did well

Ruth*Star
12-02-2007, 09:29 PM
i saw todays game and enjoyed it, i thought that adding the extra cheque was a nice thing so Andrew does get some money after all.

BigSister
12-02-2007, 09:32 PM
the banker does have a heart after all

Chrizzle
13-02-2007, 04:36 PM

He never says thanks when people say good luck either which is just rude.

Chrizzle

Today's game was a bit of a shocker, with Kelsie/Kelsey (however you spell it).

I mean yeah £29,000 is a great amount and all but as if her last two boxes were £75,000 and £250,000! And then she would've been the second quarter of a millionaire. She was going on about wanting to win a big amount and having the confetti and all that as well. Kind of ate her words.

Oh well.

Dan_
26-03-2007, 06:53 PM
Totally agree,Noel kinda rubbed it in at the end and all, he seems to be doing that alot more lately.

My mum said that 29K is alot of money, and she should be happy with what she won not crying but i feel sorry for her, she said she wanted the confetti and she dealt.

BigSister
26-03-2007, 08:36 PM
How many big reds did she have at the end compaired to the blues i mean if she had 75 250 and the rest were middly blues and 1000 3000 etc i would have carried on but if she only had low amounts i dont balme her for dealing ill have to catch up and look

BigSister
26-03-2007, 08:41 PM
Oh i would have carried on 20,000 would have been good so even if you take out all 3 big reds you would be really unlucky

Ruth*Star
26-03-2007, 08:55 PM
thats what she might of thought would happen. she probs thought she'd take all 3 reds out.

BigSister
26-03-2007, 08:56 PM
in that case then its really hard you dont know what to do

Ruth*Star
26-03-2007, 08:59 PM
Yeah if i did that and had low blues left and i refused allmost 30K i would be shellshocked.

I watch the show regularly and I must admit, that I would take a decent offer, if It was offered to me by the banker.

Regardless at what was left on the board.

I have seen so many get too carried away with what they might get and lose everything by being greedy.

__________________________________________
I watched it one day and couldn't believe it when I saw somebody that I knew.

I thought to myself, "I recognize that bloke!!" and I was right.

I bumped into him, before the show was aired. As he was still in line for getting picked and he wasn't giving any clues away, but did say he did well.

Anyway, I waited anxiously for him to come on the show and when he did, of course, I taped it.

He said that he would go all the way, to Noel Edmonds. but he was only jesting and went away with £18,000 He was very sensible.

He said that he needed a new vehicle. So that money would be a real help.

Anyway, time went by and one day, "Just like before", I bumped into him.

I saw him next to a van, which was his and I said:- "So this is where the £18,000 went". I was being sarcastic, as the van was worth about 5K at most! Anyway, he told me that he had a debt of £12,000 and he'd virtually spent the rest, so the money which he won was absolutely essential to him.

This is what makes the show, what it is.

My friend needed the money and went about it the right way! But others don't see this and take big risks which can pay off sometimes, but other times can really break your heart and could make you feel very ill.

yeah like Di for example, she was greedy.

BigSister
29-03-2007, 03:48 PM
yeah i would have snatched 44 off in fact i would have took the 30,000 she was offered. That really annoys me when people get greedy theres a fine line between courage and greed

07-09-2007, 05:21 PM

Pete was soooooo gorgeous on todays show!!! Love him.

BigSister
12-03-2009, 06:45 PM
Yeah i just saw the end but got confused at the bankers gamble as i saw her deal so i turned it over

James
12-03-2009, 06:46 PM
Didn't watch it before, the banker offers her a special gamble at the end when the last two boxes are 1p and 250,000 to carry on the game in exchange for the 17,500 she has already dealt at.

Bit generous. :conf:

MarkWaldorf
