I really have no idea, as I'm awful at figuring out whether certain songs would suit certain people. I love Tiny Dancer, so would love it if he did that, but obviously only if he did it well, and I'm not sure he would.

Which songs d'you think would suit him?

Elton John week? Elton John week?? Are you serious?

God almighty! What a crappy theme

Oh and I think "Sorry seems to be the Hardest Word" would suit him

Haha yeah, Elton John week. It's a pretty awful theme, I'm sure if it's for deff., but on Digital Spy everybody says Dermot mentioned it at the end of last week's results show. I didn't notice though.

He might do Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word well, but oh god I hope not, I kind of hate that song.

I don't really like any of EJ's songs! I don't hate them, I just find him dull.

(oh, apart from The Lion King Soundtrack )

A lot of them are dull, but there are a few good'uns. Like I said, I like Tony Dancer. Then again, that may be just because it was used brilliantly on a scene in the film Almost Famous.

Every time I type that I accidentally write 'Tony Dancer' :')

well your song would be good. But would love one direction to do that. Katie is supposedly doing the bitch is back which if you hear tina turners version is a good choice. Aiden should do i guess thats why they call it the blues. Paije should do electricity. Matt should do candle in the wind. Rebecca should do sorry seems to be the hardest word. Cher should do ghetto gospel. Mary should do can you feel the love tonight. And wagner should do im still standing

i would actually like to see Aiden do something more upbeat this week and something that involves him moving around the stage

Maybe something like 'are you ready for love' or 'Rocket Man'

how can you find an artist who has had hits in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 20s and who has collaborated with such a huge range or artists boring?

I think Tiny Dancer would be a good choice, it's a bit lighter then what he's usually given but his voice would go well with it I think.

Oh god, please not Are You Ready For Love? I hate that song. Although actually I could see Aiden singing it quite well.

wrong again

Look back at his hits, cliff was a credible and ground breaking artist for many years

look beyond your ignorance

So I should automatically like his music?

You're the ignorant one... I have a huge variation in musical tastes, just because I'm not keen on Elton John or Cliff Richard does not make me ignorant.. it's about tastes and opinions.

Sorry seems to be the hardest word, although Joe did this to great effect last year didn't he.

I've a feeling Matt may get Sorry seems to be the hardest word though.

Don't worry though, I 'm never right. He, Aiden could do really well most of Elton Johns songs though.
