I know I do too, I always end up putting it on if there's nothing else on telly, I still laugh but I still also sigh when I'm left with no other option but to watch it:joker:

The day they stop showing Friends will be a good day for me; having to endure just ten minutes of that poo is about as fun as ******** in my hands and clapping.

OMG. So Friends is staying on channel 4 and E4 for another year?? YAYYYYYY! :D
Won't have to get the boxset until next year.
For the people complaining.. there is a lot of crap on E4. If you don't like it switch over the channel.
End Of.

I was wondering why they were still showing it, not that I'm complaining, I dont watch it every day like I used to but it's still a good show.

I don't see the problem with them showing Friends. Was kind of like the channel you can go to if nothing else was on. E4 don't force you to watch them.
It's miles better than any sitcoms that are on nowadays. Maybe The Big Bang Theory is good too.
Maybe the fact that people say they've seen every episode more than 700 times says more about your TV habits. lol. There are other things to do.

Is it just me, or does anybody think this is over-rated?
I think I could watch re-runs of Friends for evermore and STILL find them funny. They cheer me up no end! (especially Ross) :)

I always found Ross the most boring. Except when drunk.

It's just E4 used to be a pretty good channel. Not have to show dead sitcoms 6 times a day. Seems a shame but people lap it up.

Most channels are worst than they used to be. Mtv, mtv base etc.

Never was really into MTV. Bravo used to be a lot better as well. But it's still pretty epic

How did this show ever become a television phenomenon in Britain? Britain is more obsessed with this show than Americans ever were.

That's a bit exaggerated. It was popular in the UK, just because E4 are still obsessed doesn't mean the public all watch it. I'm sure each episode gets a lot less than 1 million viewers.
And I don't recall it ever being a television phenomenon since the early 90's when, as my mum and aunt informs me, everyone was obsessed with Jennifer Aniston's haircut when it first started.
The only reason they still show it is because it's cheaper than paying for new programmes.
