It was recorded last winter. :) lolz thought you knew this? :) Usually they're filmed from about Sept-Decemberish. In the summer they're a tad more recent but not they're a year old.

The winner isn't told they've won until a few days before transmission. This was filmed last autumn with the view for it to be broadcast in the spring so the contestants will have been waiting all year to find out who wins.
