The adverts are annoying me this year. The Littlewoods ad is ruining The Nightmare Before Christmas's 'What's This?' and that ad with Derek Jacobi made me cringe :(
Bah humbug
I cant get into the mood until December :(

The last 2 years I haven't been in the mood til December 24th and even then I'd rather have slept through the typical BBC Xmas specials and Cliff Richard songs

Is that what becomes of being an old married man with a family :devil:
(Said he inferring the double-entendre of it coming but once a year!)

Yeah, I found it hard to get into the mood last year, not even on Christmas day that much, then on Boixing Day I looked back and wished I'd been more into the spirit of things

My Dad's worse than me for getting in the Christmas mood, he's the biggest Scrooge around, he hates everything about it lol

Ah I'm so excited for Christmas this year :D I've gotten into the Christmas spirit earlier than previous years, so I think it's gonna be a great one for me.

LOL - I've just done a naughty............
The woman who really took a shine to me at the German wedding I attended in September had emailed to tell me she'd been shopping on Saturday, talked with Santa and then bought me a really good Christmas present (she seemed really excited about this).
I felt a bit embarrassed about all this and in a slightly silly mood so replied I was Jewish so have no belief in Christ/Christmas/Santa.
She's emailed back all apologetic and asking me not to take offence. I now don't know how to tell her it was just a wicked/silly joke by me - OOPS :eek::eek:

LOL Matt, I want the present - I'll have to convert in a month!
I've never really gotten into the Christmas spirit until the week before Christmas since, really, I began secondary school - I find it hard to look forward to it when I've got lots of work to get through before the 17th-ish of December. Same rule applies now that I'm at University; although I'm finished much earlier than usual this year so it might be more exciting for me this year.. November is way too early to start being excited/advertising IMO!
