Do they lip-sync the group performance every week?

Apologies if this was discussed in another thread, I looked for one and didn't see it anywhere. I assumed this would be the hot topic of discussion this week.

I've never noticed lip-syncing before, but to be honest I've never been looking too hard for it. But when Paije started "singing" while his mic was still at his waist I couldn't help but pay just a little bit more attention this week. About half of the finalists weren't even close to singing the words at the correct time. Is this a normal thing for the group performances, or was there something going on this week that I'm not aware of?

Hmm...That explains why nobody's making a big deal out of it this week. I guess I've just never paid too much attention before tonight. It was so bad I noticed it on my iPad and had to go back and watch it again on the big screen to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

Surprised this isn't a bigger deal to more people.
