I did like Aiden when he was good. He was very hit and miss though, when he was good he was outstandingly good but when he was bad he was really bad. I don't know whether that was his fault or Danniis though, it would make you wonder do the mentors actually listen to the songs during the week at all, like surely when he was rehearsing Thriller and Jealous guy, Dannii would have heard him and said, no we need to change the song that isn't working

Really started off well with Madworld and was one of my top four. Just seemed to get worse every week and had completely slipped off my radar by this weekend and everybody elses judging by the public vote. Have to question Dani's mentoring.

I suppose you can't blame him for his lack of grace in defeat. It came out of the blue, his sing off was an utter disaster ( no doubt he had not mentally prepared himself to be in the sing offs). He was a stunned rabbit caught in the headlights. We were all stunned too, it was a given that he was a finalist with his teeny block vote.

Sadly he is a spiteful kid from this all. It made him a sniffling (was he doing cocaine?) vindictive teen after all.

He should stop singing now. There will be zero albums or interest in him after this.

Teenagers are moody but at least he could remmeber the words to the songs and complete them Katie has done her fair share of murdering songs on X Factor.

As to him being unlikeable how on can anyone say he is unlikeable when they don't really know him. I found him likeable,talented and original,the latter 2 being 2 things Katie is not.

He destroyed songs like a spoiled teenage vandal and he destroyed any chance at a career or anyone recording anything for him.

btw.. 'Rocket Man' was one of the most offensive mistakes I have EVER seen on any of these song contests. I am serious. That was simply atrocious and he might as well have pissed on the audience and then gone smashing windows at Elton Johns house.

Grumpy teenage or not. He should have, or been told to, create a better 'persona' for the viewers.

The X Factor is a popularity programme as well as a talent show. If you come over as a sulky sod the public will not warm to you. As has been proven.

He looked either totally miserable or gurned 'whacky' faces, which just made him look either on drugs or sarcastic. The latter is the most likliest to be true.

I did like him - obviously, he's in my sig of people I was supporting - but I tired of him over the weeks.

The only performance I didn't like was Jealous Guy, Thriller was a bit of a grower. I hope something comes out of this for him though, he has potential.

I liked Aiden but I do feel that they tried to turn him into something he wasnt.

Had he have been able to come out on stage, not dressed in black, not moody and intense, not rigidly stood still and perform like he did in his 1st audition with Gold Digger (a more up tempo, contempory song suited to his young age) then I don't think he would have graced the bottom 2 this early

however, and as much as I like the girl, i feel dannii should take the blame for Aiden. He did Mad World on show 1, got glowing reviews for his performance (which was moody, intense and slightly eerie) and that trend seems to have run over the rest of the weeks. We never saw Aiden really move around the stage, we never heard him sing anything even slightly up tempo (even Thriller was slowed down), we never saw him look like he was actually enjoying his moment. To me he never looked like an 18 year old young man and I feel that his potential was never really released on the live shows

That being said, poor sing off song choice for him, he looked uncomfortable during the entire thing and made a realy mess of it but i do think he should have had a second shot and actually stood up for himself and said 'enough dannii, give me a young, hip cool song that i can enjoy' not some moody, dark character inducing song

I dont think we needed to see him move around or be more upbeat. What we needed was more tuneful vocals. His monotonous whine kinda raped the tune out of most songs he sung. Lose the melody of a well known song and you may as well sing something new.

And his whole demeanor was not engratiating to the viewers and voters. If youre gonna enter Xfactor then play the fcking game or piss off and find another route to fame. He keeps saying that the whole XF thing is not really him.
