I've no idea how much in the way of financial losses that would incur, but I can't imagine he'd be too happy about that. Plus, if anything, it's about teaching him a lesson that the public want to entertained in a fair way, they don't want what he is currently giving them.

He'd just produce low-rate material and market him as a novelty act [which he is]. And hey, if Jedward can get a #2...there's hope for Wagner.

He genuinely won't care - if anything he'll just say 'it's only unfair on the other talented acts' [which is true anyway, and what most of us would be thinking]. Other than that he won't be bothered. With the amount of controversy that would surround it, the press attention it would thus receive, the hype that would therefore be established for next year's series etc etc etc, it won't matter at all. The show will just continue to grow - which is all he wants. Any money he loses through Wagner and a record contract he can make back next series as a result of the controversy.

When he has Alexandra and Leona under his label, he really, really will not care. He's already had a couple of failed artists - Steve and Leon.
