I have a feeling Aiden has only been included because of the kickoffs surrounding him leaving...and because Simon realizes he made a mistake :)

It's not really 'fair', to whoever is saying it is. When it's always been the top eight, bending the rules to accomodate one more isn't exactly 'fair'. I'm not complaining, before someone says something along the lines of 'you wouldn't be saying this if Katie had made the tour the same way' - because it doesn't bother me that he's made the tour, infact I think the more the merrier, it'd be great if all sixteen went, I just think that it's not really entirely fair to bend the rules to accomodate an extra person. Why can't we have Diva Fever and Nicolo on the tour as well? And what about the other people that have left? Surely it's a bit unfair on them?

Perhaps they're not thinking of it as bending the rules for Aiden but they might wanna change it a bit this year and think an extra person would be quite good. Obviously with the pettitions and stuff it probably gave them an extra push. But they'll probably end up doing the same every year now so I wouldn't say it was unfair.

I am pleased for him, when he is good he is very good as in Mad World.

But this raises another matter. Had Katie been kicked off last week she would have had cries of fix and she would have headlined in the Star as cheating her way in.

Time to vote Katie this weekend me thinks to counteract the clear bias and hatefest she has had to contend with.

He wanted Katie on the tour, he couldn't give her the boot then say she's on the tour because there would be more uproar about it. So instead Aiden gets the boot by getting the lowest number of votes then he gets added to the tour, a lot less aggro.

aiden is more of a star than no direction,infact aiden has straight guys like him aswell but straight guys dont vote as much as the teenage girls with one direction.

Don't think Treyc ever really shone on any performance, and her attempts to blast it out often left me wishing I had ear plugs.

Given the right songs Aiden will be great and I am really pleased for him.

Except it just wouldn't have worked that way round. She would have been pilloried and her haters would have said it was a fix. Had Katie gone last week, the tour would have been eight, period.

I really believe and I am finding it amazing the number of people I talk to who also believe this too that the producers and Simon Cowell virtually guaranteed Katie at least a place on the tour, I don't believe they thought she would have become so unpopular with the voting public though.

There was only going to be 8 on the tour, That was said immediately after the gaffe that was said as X Factor began that all 16 were on the tour.but with Katie in danger near every week, I believe some silent agreement has been made to preserve her at all costs in the competition until the final 8.

As with the Gamu situation, they underestimated the public anger at Katie getting a 4th second chance over Aiden last week, so like the sudden wild card plan, in comes another change so that 9 can be on the tour and not just 8,to quell that anger for Aiden too.

Its not cheating, because its Simon's show and he can rip up rules or make them as he likes, but if Aiden wasn't on the tour, that would, in all the realms of decency, morals and fairness be massively wrong and I believe Simon knew that so the new change accommodates that.

If she is in the last 2 this week, Simon will vote her out if she is up against anyone other than Paije and Wagner.if its a double elimination then I hope she is out automatically by being the last placed act anyway.
