It is annoying when you can't hear the judges though, which is near enough every performance nowadays, but still it's good having them there :/

Get rid of them. Stick up a soundproof barrier. Put mannequins in the audience instead. Just do SOMETHING about them, they're ridiculous and totally detract from the viewing experience.
