Katie Hate - unfair!

Hello All,

I have been checking this Forum and many other forums (digital Spy) and I believe all of this Katie hate is so unfair. What has she actually done wrong herself? I was watching Xtra Factor yesterday, and a caller was insulting almost everything about her, and what puzzles me is that she doesn't even know Katie as a person. Yes she has been in the bottom 2 many times, but the judges are saving her as they see potential, which is what I see. Anyway i just wanted to share my view.

We dont know any of them as a person...therefore we have to judge on how they appear on screen, as the caller said.

I think some of the hate came from her being picked over gamu, which wasnt her fault. And some came from the judges obvious favoritism...which isnt her fault either.

However, I havent really seen anything I could class as 'hate' over here(DS is another matter...some people there are awful), more just people being sick of her being back week after week after being in the bottom two. And the fact that she is not a good singer, has forgot her words a few times...and the whole 'sod it' giving up performance. And she DOES come across as way too desperate, and spoilt IMO.

She doesnt come across badly on the actual show. But the whole Gamu thing and the media slaughtering has kinda made her a target.

Plus her first performance made her look a bit gimmicky and she hasn't fully recovered from it.

Yes, I can see how you interpret your opinion, and I actually agree with some points (forgetting your word's isn't really acceptable), but I believe she comes across as something different, and she does have a good voice. Yeah I know, some people take it to the extreme. The press are being ridiculous with her too.

I agree it is a bit unfair , a lot of her hate is because of the Gamu incident ( which is Chavryl's fault) so i think we should up the Hatred for Chavryl as result

That can be debated...many people believe the judges have no say in who gets through the judges houses part ;)

I personally at the Time wanted; Rebecca, Katie and Gamu through.
But now I believe the right decision was made.

Cher has more than proved her self worthy of being chosen over Gamu. And Katie has brought huge publicity to the show as one of the most written about contestants.

So they were good choices in hindsight. Gamu would probably be voted out by now IMHO.

LOL what world are u on??? Gamu would have been the one to beat and IMHO would have won the show quite easily
