Zombie game to be unveiled at VGAs

A new zombie game will be shown at next month's Spike TV Video Game Awards.

The latest commercial for the December 11 ceremony contains an image of a poster with the words 'Infected? Report it!' and '1 of 3', according to VG247.

It has been suggested that the teaser is related to Left 4 Dead, hinting at a PlayStation 3 port or third game in the series.

A new BioWare game, a Gears Of War title for Kinect and a full Batman: Arkham City reveal are among the titles to be unveiled at the awards show.

I hope it's a new L4D, I love those games.

Left 4 Dead is bollocks now.

They should give you the option to go into Third Person and you find yourself hanging about in the same ******ing room for ages ESPECIALLY in L4D2.

As far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't give a sh*t if they never made another one UNLESS they improved it.

Yes about 2 years ago they came back into style and it was like 'WOAH ZOMBIE GAMES ARE BACK!'

Zombie games never went 'out of fashion' or came back in fashion. They have always and will always be around and right now they rock. Like they did ten years ago.

Yeah apparently it's a new Resident Evil game, The RE Team is going to be a busy bunny. They've got two 3DS games coming out, a PSP spin off and now probably RE6.

Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS is said to be more horror based then 4/5 and more akin to the earlier titles. I imagine RE6 (If that is what this announcement is going to be) might go down a similar path.

Much rather the old tank control Rezis although 4 was a modern masterpiece. Speaking of zombies ... I'm loving the heck out of Dead Rising 2 right now. It's just delicious fun.

i found this room with like a camera set up then i was ambushed by thhose yellow coat dudes and i woke up in a room with only underwear on (in the game)

OMG you actually don't know how many exclusives the Xbox gets. Its so ridiculous, you guys get L4D, Halo, Gears of War, CoD DLC for at least a month before us. Its actually ridiculous. One of the reasons I hate Microsoft :mad:

I traded my 360 in for a PS3 last month on the grounds that it had Metal Gear Solid 4 and I could play Final Fantasy VII - IX on it.

I still love the 360 but MGS4 > All.

Anyone remember TimeSplitters? Classic series. Shame it wont be coming back. TimeSplitters 4 was in development but the studio, Free Radical, went backrupt.

That had zombies, gangsters, pimps, chefs, aliens, rabbits, the whole business. Great variety, funny as hell, brilliant in splitscreen. Put's todays boring 'WAR AND ~REALISM RAWR!' crap to shame.

Oh it's horrible. It's got a really small following these days and anyone that plays it is at a super high level. Most servers kick noobs and Konami's horrible matchmaking will leave you waiting 20 minutes for a match. And you have to apply for a seperate Konami ID online and go through this riddiculous activation process.

It's all about the single player for me anyway. That bit with Snake and Ocelot injecting themselves has got to be one of the best video game moments ever. That whole game is packed with quality moments.

yeah its such a trek ive been on silver on the xbox for ages now cus i realised i never was really into multiplayer lol

Yeah the backwards compatibility is a balls. I really need it because PS2 games look horrible when stretched out on a HD but the PS3 sorts all that out. My PS1 collection looks fantastic on the HD.

I reckon the tide will slowly turn in Sony's favour. The PS3 was built to last 10+ years and the true power of the system has not even been tapped yet because they made it so damn difficult to develop for. The 360 has already hit it's graphical peak and in five years a hell of a lot more people will want a Blu Ray player.

I have Killzone 2 but I didn't even touch it yet to be honest. I got like 6 games with the thing so I'm slowly working through them. More importantly than any PS3 game though I downloaded TEKKEN 2.

I would though love it if they made a new RE game that was similar in style to RE1. I wanna have fixed camera angles again and rock hard puzzles. Tough enemies n ammo is sparse.

I have never played Halo, but seen lots of videos of gameplay on youtube.
It doesnt appeal to me and when I watch the vids I think to myself this is a game for kids really.

I have played Modern Warfare which was very good at the time. World at War wasnt that impressed though and not played that series since

my favourites by far are gears of war and bioshock, they are awesome games, both would be in my top 10 games of all time easily
