Not that there will be much escaping it on the TV. But will you make a point of watching it or enjoy the fact it's a freebie BH day off and do your own thing?

Yep, I want to see what she wears, and to see if she trips, cries or faints.

It's some pressure to have on her shoulders

Same with me, I'd love if Charles abdicated, and allowed Big Willie to be King and Babykins to be Queen.

I'll probably watch some but no way will I sit through it all. Lets face it there'll be no escape no matter what you do really. Unless you hide in the loo .....

Doubt he will. He's wanted shot of his Mother for years for that perch

If I'm not doing anything else  I don't really care about watching the ceremony.

Only thing I hate is we'll get no respite from now until a good month after it happens, if not longer. I noticed every show is "oh what will Kate wear??" and even the news at ten are speaking to couples who happen to have the same date for their wedding. OK have already pounced on it yet we're bloody months away yet! Then of course will be the honeymoon and babies......

We'll never see TV again!!!!! :bawling: :joker:

Yeah I will, I expect it'll be on the main channels and news channels around the world. I think their both likeable people so I hope the day is nice for them.

It was on every channel when she died.

I've never seen anything like it.

They interrupted programming and I wasn't happy because I couldn't watch Cartoon Network.

I couldn't care less, tbh. Might stop and look for a few seconds though.

I think it's fantastic that we get to watch history in the making. In the not too distant future our pomp and ceremony will probably be a thing of the past so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts. There's more than enough gritty gloom and doom around the rest of the year. Let the curmudgeons and moaners do their own thing for the day and leave the rest of us to wallow in the romance, history, tradition and ceremony of a memorable occasion.

These days we have hundreds of channels to watch if we so wish, so for those who don't want to see programmes about the wedding, a bit of channel hopping is all it takes to avoid it.

I don't really care about it but I'll just watch it because its a bit of history that you'll never get to repeat. and ITV will probably take off This Morning and Loose Women for it :bored:

I bet every channel covers it apart from perhaps specialist Sky channels and maybe BBC2 as they'll show it on BBC1

I wouldn't put it past Channel 4 to air the 'alternative' wedding and find another William & Kate/Catherine getting married at the same time and televise that :joker:
