I'm watching this film and I can honestly say its the most depressing film I have ever seen.
For those of you who haven't heard of it, Threads is a movie documentary-drama about nuclear war and specifically, how it affects Britain. It was made in 1984 so its a little dated, but it is still extremely shocking and bleak. I've been watching it on YouTube:

I'm up to this part where the main character, Ruth, goes into a hospital and people are being operated on without anaesthetic - horrific. :(
