my formation is 4-1-2-1-2 but I put the FBs/WBs higher up to emphasise their attacking intent

Brazil/Argentina have used it often to great success

the DM position where I would have Carrick/Huddlestone play is where I used to think Beckham should have played as he is the best passer England had for years and he was never a winger

If Joe Cole was fit and playin well I'd consider having him in my squad too as cover for Rooney's position behind front 2

along with 4-3-3 barcelona/ajax formation I think it is the best for modern football
