Colour and Food

I just wondered if anyone else had this; or anyone could explain why it is - why does colour effect our taste buds?

For example, I always used to SWEAR that the yellow penguin tastes the best... even though they are all the same.

Blue smarties omg! They were like ecstasy for kids! I remember when I used to have them, I used to go really really hyper. Fun times :')

But then they took them away and replaced them with these new ones that have a different food colouring so they don't make you go hyper. They suck. :sad:
