How do you solve a *problem called Gillian? Night after night, Britain’s most loathed female haunts our living rooms like a deranged ghost — screaming, moaning and complaining.

She might be top television entertainment, but there’s no way Gillian McKeith should be taken seriously.

At which point I’m incredulous. This woman is 51 and, even if she hasn’t gone through the menopause, surely her GP would have prescribed medication to get her through a few days in the jungle?

On Saturday night, when Shaun finally lost his temper, announcing she was an irritating woman full of bull****, millions of us rose from our sofas and cheered.

She claims not to have *realised what was involved in the show, which is rubbish. I know the truth, as back in 2004 I was an inmate, and everyone is subjected to medical and psychological checks beforehand.

Janet is hilarious and shes more love to hate. With Gillian, you just want to murder her. she has no redeeming qualities whatsoever (apart from her ability to "faint" on live TV)
