Funny that when Cher will be getting a record deal:D, if Rebecca is to last in music then she needs to show more personality IMO.. it's not enough just being a good singer, she's a lovely girl but it's a tough business and you need oomph to last and a bit of attitude;).

Yep, not only has Simon said, he's sign her in a heartbeat, Nicole Scertzinger (or however the hell you spell her name) has said she would. Adele wrote her a letter saying she'd love to work with her. And pretty much 90% of all ex contestants have said they want her to win, because she's the most talented and so humbling

Everyone are hypocrites in someway whether it's defending their favourite act or criticising those who they aren't so keen on or like but wish they would do something else it's the way it goes.. i'm a football fan and we're fickle all the time and in shows like this the same rule applies my friend;).

Cher does sing in tune so thats just stupid and even if she didn't atleast she'd be entertaining to watch unlike Matt and Rebecca who i cant even name one song they have sung because they are that forgettable, shows how much singing in tune does for them.

Why is it such a bad thing to have a good voice but "no personality"? It's only in the last decade or so in the UK, it seems, where the private lives of celebrities has become just as news-worthy as their careers. Rebecca's personality comes across in the intro videos before her performance, at least it does to me, she's a kind girl who has a good sense of humour and hasn't a bad bone in her body. Cher's personality seems to be more of a talking point because she's very ambitious and determined to the point where some people find her annoying; in my opinion that should be viewed as a negative point - the fact that her personality is being judged just as much as, if not more than, her singing. I feel sorry for Cher, more than anything, the fact that her personality has been put on such a pedestal has ruined her chances of winning to an extent, whereas Rebecca, who has kept her head down and just performed, stands a much better chance of winning because she's not made herself into a target.


Anyway, as for the theme change, thank God for that - I was getting bored of seeing Mary and Rebecca do nothing but sing, and I was getting bored of seeing Cher jump around the stage. At least One Direction can't stand on a platform for both performances and actually have to do something in their other performance!
