I was reading an article in a magazine yesterday and i read a story about a 16 year old girl who had a brain tumour and brain cancer, really sad story it was, anyone else read?

Anyway, she was a really brave girl, didn't want to waste any of the time she had left so... *finally getting on to point* ...

When she was 14 she wrote out a wish list of all the things she wanted to do in life, put it in her box and just forgot about it, never really thought anything of it.

Some of the wishes included; Giving blood, going in a hot air baloon, meeting a celeb (Eminem), riding in a limo, helping a animal charity, get married & have kids. Obviously as she only had months or weeks left to live and was only 16 then she couldn't get married or have kids.

So, she went home from hospital knowing she didn't have long to live and remembered about the wish list she wrote 2 years ago and went to get it. Since then she is trying to do as many of them as she possibly can before she dies. She has so far, gave blood, been in a hot air balloon, rode in a limo, helped a animal charity and some more.

She doesn't want to waste a moment of which she still has left, such a brave and great girl. Btw, she is currently still alive and still enjoying each day and trying to do as much of her wish list as possible.

Anyway, the whole point of this as to draw attention to this great girl and also ask if anyone else has every wrote a wish list of what they wanted to do in life? Things they wanted to do? Places/ people they wanted to see? Etc.

It got me thinking and i'm going to have a wee think and i'm going to write on myself. It would also be something to look at in years to come and see if i have actually achieved any of them or have a good laugh at some of them lol.

Knowing me i'll probably be there a while as i want to do a lot in life but that's not the point lol.

Oh and she got a tatoo too.

I think they've made exceptions as she's dying.

Never really thought too much about what I want to do in life. I just take each day as it comes and hope for the best:hugesmile:

Death doesn't scare me. We're all individuals, but it's the event that we're bound together by. I just try to think "When it's my time, it's my time" and make sure that even if that is tomorrow, that I have no regrets. This is clearly what the girl Ant's talking about is trying to do - good for her!

I think some people are not understanding the question.

My question was if anyone has made a wish list of things they want in life. Nothing to do with the illness she got etc.

I can understand what your saying but i couldn't have that attitude i mean, if i died tomorrow *touch wood* then why would it be my time? I'm too young lol.

Maybe it's because i don't believe it fate?
