Wishes I lived in Cornwall.
It's beautiful to look at, but it's causing untold grief on the work front. :bawling:
I'm not feeling joyful about the snow anymore :bawling: still snowed in and theres more to come.

It's the English joy Josy - I suppose Scots should feel happy for them. I once went on holiday to Mauritius and the burning question the locals had was "what is snow like?". (never experienced it) How on earth do you disappoint them by saying that it's a pain in the ass of explain what slush is after the event wears off?!
England is a bit like that about deep snow.

Fed up to the back teeth with the snow which has now prevented my brother and his family visiting me today - may not get a chance to see them before Christmas now:sad: It's probably going to mess up christmas visits next week as well. The novelty has now completely worn off because everything grinds to a halt with the first snowflake.
If it's going to snow, make it Christmas Eve night - that's the only time it's acceptable as far as I'm concerned or else January like every other year.

My mother in law has just cancelled her yearly xmas trip to Cornwall which isa complete pain in the arse as she takes all our presents for the family down south with her plus I don't usually bother with a present for her until well into January when she's home and we have another little "xmas day"
