With all the fighting, sniping and meltdowns on this year's X Factor, it's easy to forget about the lovely Rebecca Ferguson.

Apparently so easy, in fact, that even Cheryl's not paying her much attention.

Rebecca left the X Factor studios in floods of tears last week and was comforted by the newly booted out Katie Waissel.

But rumour has it Rebecca's none too happy about the favouritism being shown Cole mini-me, Cher Lloyd.

An X Factor insider told the Daily Mail: "Rebecca was in absolute tears backstage, I've never seen a contestant so upset before.

"She really feels that Cher is getting preferential treatment over her and that this is going to ruin her chances of winning.

"Rebecca's put everything into this competition and she's finding it extremely stressful. It's very hard for her to see Cher get so much attention from their mentor Cheryl.

"She thinks the show is being geared up for Cher."

Hmm... we have a sneaking suspicion she may be right. Still, since Cher is falling out with each contestant over her stroppy diva antics, Cheryl may end up being the only friend she's got left.

She was crying beforehand because she saw her kids so i think that upset her. This is just the media making up false stories from photos and trying to take a swipe at Cher and Cheryl yet again.

I think its really clear that Rebecca is a little sidelined by Cheryl, the songs she gives Rebecca often are songs like Yesterday,that don't change and leave little chance to put an original stamp on them.

It is blatantly obvious that not only Cheryl but also Simon wants Cher in the final, they wanted Katie there too but that plan came unstuck last week.
I thinks its sad and so I guess it will be final with 4 acts now, with Cher in it and I just hope Rebecca's clear talent and voice will see her through too.

Cher and One direction will be there,Matt definately too,I hope Rebecca can be also.

whether it's true that Rebecca herself was upset or not I think that it is quite obvious to everyone of the favouritism Cheryl has for Cher. No matter, Rebecca doesn't need Cheryl when she has that voice.

Article may not be true but i do think Cheryl is sidelining Rebecca a bit, it does seem like her and Simon see Cher as a golden girl, they did Katie as well but finally the public got their way and she is off the show.

I don't think the article is true either. It may be falsely based on the way Cheryl reacted to Rebecca being called out first last Saturday. I think she expected Cher to be, as Katie had been the week before when she got through after being in the bottom 2. Either way, it will be interesting to see the running order this week, and what songs they are given.

I am more and more convinced that Simon is determined to have the first group winner this time, he will do all he can to ensure One Direction will win and I actually think they will.
Matt is the only real chance of the female vote going to be split,he also has a bonus, lots of guys vote for him too though.

Between Cher, rebecca and Mary, I would say if its one elimination then Mary will go but I really doubt that Cheryl will be that bothered on the inside if Rebecca was to go.The songs she is recently giving to Rebecca have hampered Rebeccas' confidence and singing not enhanced it.

Whether or not Cheryl is letting Rebecca down, the judges sure do big her up and seem to say she has performed well whatever. I thought her performances on Saturday were pretty poor, yet mid-way she was definitely the star performer. Don't know what has gone wrong, even her voice seems a shadow of a month ago. Got to question the song choices and arrangements.

I watch Xtra Factor and I can't see why Matt damaged himself at all,unless I missed something,I know he was pissed that Aiden and Paije went,but that was a natural reaction and it is said he didn't like Wagner,(not heard him say it myself),but not a lot of us did like Wagner.:joker::joker:
