HATE HATE HATE christmas,shops and tv brainwashing people, starting in oct, people getting into debt buying stupid presents,people eating and drinking themselves stupid, for people on their own its the loneliest time of the year,and at 4pm christmas day the tv starts with the holiday adverts and the january sales,non stop brainwashing to get our money off us.carnt wait for the 26th when its all over

I love Christmas, people don't have to get into debt or spend over the top amounts of cash to make it special, its not all about that, I think its a brilliant time of the year, everyone (well mostly everyone) is in a cheerful mood and I enjoy it because I get to spend time with members of my family that I dont see throughout the year.

I wasn't aware that there was a period during the year when advertising and marketing ceased. Everyone is always being influenced by adverts. It's just a lot more noticeable at Christmas. Ignorance is bliss. On the whole most people love Christmas and it makes them happy so ... yeah. I would have to say it's a positive thing. Fair trade off.

I love christmas, the build-up is good, when it's all over you feel like there's nothing happening now and it's all over if you get me. Everyone's happy though and it just feels like a fun time of year in general... also you get the 2week christmas holiday so it's all good really. :')

People who are alone just hate the fact that everyone else is around families at christmas.

Now that I am older and have a job lol then well I just like it when I have a bit of time off. Having a nice Xmas dinner with the family and going to the pub and to sing carols! :) I can't wait until I have kids of my own one day. Yes I must remember. A child is for life and not just for Xmas.

I do feel sorry for those people on their own but a part of me feels like.. well a lot of alone people will be on the "same boat". What the hey.. more presents for us if people commit suicide. *jokes*

lots of things, I love getting a week or so off work, I love the whole holiday atmosphere, I love seeing all the Christmas decorations and lights on houses and on the streets. I love all the Christmas movies and lazy days by the fire eating loads of rubbish. I love seeing my children happy when they get their presents

I can see why you love christmas, at the moment, the trouble is things change.,you will get older and have to retire from work,your kids will marry and maybe move away, you will loose a lot of you loved ones,I dont want to depress you,but this is how people end up being lonley through no fault of their own
