I personally think Dave, but the obvious attraction to John James and Mario was there which resulted in massive bitching sessions because of suppressed desire

As I know that Ben is straight (in a way that the other people posting here do not) I suggest that anyone who likes Ben and has his interests at heart DOES NOT POST ANYTHING IN THIS THREAD and leaves it simply to the imaginations of those that have no love for him to run riot ...

It might be sick ... but it is definitely not worth dignifying with any kind of a response ... and that will be far more satisfying ...

I was in two minds about ben and his sexuality, I respected the fact that he didn't want to talk about it, although being on big brother does force the issue, you are asked all about your sexual preference and past etc during the interviews etc so it's difficult to hide, but sometimes ben would be very open about his feelings and other times very guarded and closed and it made me a little sad that he thought his career would be ruined because he likes men and made me wonder if this was true or just in his own mind.

I suppose I'm as baffled by Ultra Violets protesting that he's straight as much as ben's initial denial to liking men and then when he eventually seemed to come out the closet on big brother his friends seem to have stuffed him back in there.

to be honest i think with mario it was more envy that he was so open and happy with his sexuality i don't think he fancied him, i think he definately fancied john james and he had an emotional bond to Dave which was sometimes fatherly, but giving his(possible) pampers kink that might but something he's into, older men I'm in no way reffering to anything paternal!

Well tbh I don't think Ben fancied any of John-James, Dave or Mario :laugh: Just if it had to be one, he was really close to Mario at the start of the show, and there sort of always seemed to be something there between them.

do you rmember how close ben and dave were? he lay on top of his in the hut , like proper laid on top of him, and then another time used his groin as a cushion, even davina asked was that normal and he said no

I think the only person Ben really fancied was himself, he was so obsessed in talking about how things he did and say may look on the outside.

Every time someone came to Ben to talk about any topic, it took only minutes until he had turned the conversation into a chat about him, his problems, his look, his own little world...

The only time he talked about others, was when he was bitching, or if he thought he could impress any of the girls with his knowledge about politics.

Not really sure if he's really that clever in general. He was for sure very educated when it came to politics, but to be honest, Mario was able to talk about all sort of general knowledge (not only talk about it, he also could explain everything... History, Nuclear fission, Planets, religion and so on).
But Ben was always just specialised on political conversations.

I do remember Ben's comment one time, which is below as written by someone on DS at the time
