Lots of people seem to be double posting recently, I have seen it happen like 4 times today, is it a problem with the forum or are people just getting impatient at how slow the forum is and clicking submit more than once?
I've double posted a few times recently, I only click submit once, my internet's been dodgy with the weather recently though so I'm assuming it's that.. hmm.

How can the weather make you double post? :joker:

No I was just meaning my internet connection's been dodgy recently, I assume due to the wind, so I was assuming my double posts were a result of it sending, my internet cutting out, then me refreshing the page and it sending twice.

Yeah I've been getting a lot of double PM's recently, rather annoying. :)
Yeah it seems to happen a lot, whenever I click submit twice if I'm getting impatient it says "this is a duplicate of a post you have just posted" and it wont post it, so it's weird that it keeps happening for some people

Yeah it happens when people get all annoyed that it's not posting, then click "post quick reply" or whatever about 5 times and it comes double..
Sometimes though, even if the forum's just going slow it appears twice aswell D:

After you have pressed the post reply button, dont refresh if it takes a while for the page to reload. If need be go back to the forum index on another page and refresh there to see if the post has loaded, otherwise it will resend your post.

It double posts on its own for me for no apparent reason.
It has made me double post like 3 times today. Its such a chore having to delete the extra messages too. :/

I posted a triple post once, obviously a sign by god that i should become the forum admin.
If that were done on purpose then bravo.

Does it when the forums on one of it's many slow goes. Just press submit once and leave it. If it times out just close the page. Your post is usually there. Duplicates if you hit submit more than once. Copy the post just incase and you can paste it if your originals not there

It's happened to me a few times. I think if it happens no more than the odd once or twice it's fine. Then yes.. I can see why it gets irritating. I will copy and paste my comments then and try and be more patient in future.

Editing posts is worse than this now. By the time it finally finishes editing everyone has already seen your fail. :bored:
