Signature Banners & Avatars [requests here]

I know that there are a lot of topics made by people requesting them, so this topic has a few purposes:

1) Show off new signatures/avatars you made/found.
2) Request signatures/avatars from one of our talented forum members. I can make signatures + avatars if anyone wants them, to any specifications (well, ALMOST anything. =P)

What program do you use? Not that I'm particulary fussed, but what do people use to make these things anyway? (I'm completely clueless, I just nick avvies and sometimes banners from random people.)

Quite a few people i know use paint shop pro and thats meant to be pretty decent.

I usually use Paint Shop Pro, because I'm familiar with its features after 3 years of using it. :laugh:

Occasionally I'll use Photoshop CS2 to get a 'special effect' with text .... but I'm still on a very slow learning curve with it! :spin2:

Never heard of Fireworks .... is it a free download, or do you have to buy it?

Lucky you can do that ..... with Paint Shop Pro you can download a trial version but, once that's expired, you can't do it again .... you have to buy it. :rolleyes:

If you mean that your avatar isn't working, baybay, it's because there's a fault on the Forum just now that means that you can't upload avatars from your PC. James will fix it when he has time, but he's very busy with other things at the moment. :thumbs: If you are able to, you can upload your avatar to an image hosting site like Photobucket or ImageShack and link it back to the Forum like you've done with your banner. :spin2:

I'm a PSP9 boy through and through. I had it.. not so legally, then I had my PC wiped and so my mum and dad very kindly bought it for me, because my mum in particular used it too.

I've actually got PSP8 not PSP9. It's called JASC Paintshop Pro 8. My bro downloaded it so i'm presuming ^^ that's what he typed in, are you writing JASC too?

Are you doing as follows:

Go to Control Panel/Options, then click on the tab Edit Profile. Scroll down and you'll see your avatar with a tickbox underneath that says Delete Avatar. Click on that, then Edit Profile at the bottom.

Then once it's deleted, go back to that page, but this time go to the Upload avatar from your computer bit, click browse and go from there. :thumbs:

I've uploaded the image to Photobucket.

Once uploaded, there should be links/tags. Take the last one which has (Link) . Then on here, go to your control pannel, then edit profile, then go down to signature, insert the link and click edit.
