First Female Winner - Where?

I know that Kate is the first female winner of BB in the UK, but that in itself is one out of three, and BB1 was very close. What about the rest of the world, has there been a female BB winner before, because if Kate is the first worldwide, that would be some achievement!

Does anyone know?
