If you recall my weather source predicted this exceptional cold spell 2.5 weeks ago


his latest post is worth a look:


"A suckers gap is going to appear on Friday for a few days or three when it
will get a bit milder and probably do some damage to the snow cover. But,
.... a change in the Pacific will induce strong warm air advection west of
Greenland leading to retrogression and eventually a cyclonic N to NE'ly into
Britain. The next cold snowy spell, with sea temperatures lower and already
colder ground will make the last one seem like a walk in the park in the run
up to Christmas! "

I would wager that the BHS ski line from 1992 will be a touch off trend?
