I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of here stars Gillian McKeith and Lembit Opik have struck up an unlikely alliance and their bond appears to be strong.

Drama Queen McKeith, 51, even invited her new BFF to an intimate family lunch yesterday.

The pair were pictured leaving a restaurant in Luton after dining with Gillian’s 16-year-old daughter.

And it seemed that Skylar McKeith approved of her mum’s new pal as the threesome joked and chatted away after leaving Villandre restaurant.

i bet restaurants cringe when they see mc keith coming....the chefs like "oh god open a tin of kidney beans and hope for the best" ....and skylar (what is it named after some windfarm electric company or some ****) ms mini mc keith , home schooled and probably still breast fed....wonder where the younger sulky one who looks like a gonk was.

Lembit, 45, told TV Biz he planned a national theatre tour with freaky Gillian, 51, to talk about life on the show. He said: "I think Gillian is a lovely woman. Going on tour would be a great idea."

This weekend they were spotted deep in thought together - along with Gill's daughter Skylar - at a London restaurant.

Our spy said: "They looked like they were discussing a project together. No one dared ask in case they just started boring us to death about it forever."
