He has no depth to his voice, it's one note, it's girly. You need a voice with a bit of grit and character to pull it off and we all remember how laughable it was when Matt tried to do gritty in Come Together. He's an utter whelk that's only got as far as he has because of his looks and pretty much doing the same thing week in and out.

So yes he's going to murder it and even change it's name so he can take it as his own.

Matt may be goal orientated but he does not come across as malicious. As I say, I suspect it's a case of he was put into a situation whereby he felt he had to clear the muddied waters.

I can barely move when I get it and it takes weeks for me to feel 100% again, he might have been ill last week but it wasn't tonsilitis, you can't sing like that with it, I can barely stand and can't talk at all when I've got it. I reckon he might have had a cold and was trying to look for sympathy at best.

No disrespect to you, but seeing as you have not examined Matt, (and I presume, are not a doctor or ENT specialist either), you aren't in a position to say he didn't have tonsilitis. I'd rather go with the reports from the XFactor directly.
