And it did make me have more faith in the Xfactor viewers, regardless, of the shenanigans from judges and such!

The fact that he won pacically every week, show ha, maybe, people were voting for talent. Him, rebecca and earlier Mary, were consanly the high vote getters.

He was the best singer in my opinion, only had one bad week I recall. Rebecca was good as well, but too boring at times.

I am just shocked that One Direction didnt win! I thought it was inevitable. :)

I agree with everyone, i think Matt had the best talent of all the other contests, & i've got a feeling he will do really well than a lot of the other previous winners, maybe not as much as Leona, but i do think people will still be talking about him this time next year.

Recognition to Dannii too for the great job she has done week in week out with his song choices, it appears he topped every week except the first one so its clear she gave him songs to perform that really registered with the public.
