Jonas Erik Altberg, 25, was charged by Fife Constabulary over allegations made at Kitty's nightclub in Kirkcaldy in the early hours of Friday.
Officers questioned the former Celebrity Big Brother star over claims he attacked two female fans.
That led to him being charged under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court to answer the charges in January.

The other thing to bear in mind a sexual assault in Scotland can be as simple a thing as patting a lasses butt without permission. Or even autographing the breasts of an underage girl, if her parents complain you get done with an offence of assault under the Sexual Offences Act.
Normally up here plod will say a serious assault or a serious offense, if its something like flashing, attempting to remove the clothes or groping private areas up to more serious offences.

BOSSES at a Scots nightclub have said sorry for the antics of star DJ Basshunter after a teenage fan branded him a pig.
Ashley Barr, 18, said the Swedish star, real name Jonas Altberg, grabbed her after a show at Kitty’s in Kirkcaldy on Thursday night.
And after his drunken “come-on”, she said he turned his attention to other women in the club.
Ashley said: “I was embarrassed and degraded. He was a total pig.
“I was a fan, but now I wouldn’t open the curtains if he was playing in my back garden.”
Kitty’s apologised to fans and said: “We were totally embarrassed by his conduct.”
Basshunter, 25, has had two number one hits and has also starred on Celebrity Big Brother.
His manager, Scott Simons, yesterday insisted: “I was with Jonas the whole night and I didn’t see anything untoward.
“There was drunken banter, but you would get that in a nightclub anywhere.”

My brother was out there in July and he saw Basshunter perform at one of the clubs and he was apparently saying "let's get ****ed" and going on about "getting pussy" while he was there

Dance music star Basshunter has been charged by police over an alleged sex assault on two female fans at a Fife nightclub gig.

Officers questioned the former Celebrity Big Brother star over claims he attacked the pair.

Basshunter played another set in Glasgow on Saturday but was understood to be back home in Sweden on Tuesday.
A Fife Constabulary spokesman said: "Police in Fife can confirm that a 25-year-old man has been arrested in relation to alleged offences committed at Kitty's, Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy, and has been bailed to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course."
Basshunter had a UK number one single with Now You're Gone in 2007.
He also featured in this year's final series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Basshunter's manager, Scott Simons, insisted the allegations were "totally untrue".
He stressed his client would fully co-operate with the police investigation

I love the implied misogyny in this comment. I love it because it totally demonstrates the sexism we all suspect lies under the surface everywhere.
I love how blatant the misogynists are in their hatred of women. A powerful/wealthy man is always the VICTIM of predatory "trollops".
Of course, it's never possible that powerful/wealthy men could be using their power/wealth to manipulate or even assault women. It's always the women, who have no power or wealth that are VICTIMIZING the men.
