The X Factor 2011 auditions are in February?

On the application form it says you have to be over 16 by the 11th February 2011? usually there not till June this shows there going to be major changes this year i think.

Sorry for an XF post now the show is over but just wanted to here other people's ideas.

First Round auditions are held in April/May, so that seems normal...

ohhhhhh i get it now im thinking of when the audience ones are LOL, you have 5 auditions before your judges one.

You have 3 auditions before Judges actually, LOL. Also the application is to be in for 11th of Feb as you stated but every other year before had been the 1st of April? So there could be major changes. Or everything is just going earlier so Simon can do auditions and boot camp for UK and US.
