This is the first time this has happened I think, Sir Alan must have been seriously pissed off with him.

Or maybe he's taking a leaf out of Simon Cowell's book and feeding the media for higher ratings.

Who is? Sir Alan or Stuart? Because if Sir Alan was trying to do that it would surely make more sense to invite Stuart back to the final

Stuart deserved the tongue lashing from Lord Sugar,he has come out with some really deluded and bizarre claims and expressions too.

Really glad he was sent packing.

Not surprised. Stuart was just not right for the job. Lord Sugar made a silly decision keeping him in for so long.

Alan's too informal

Sugar isnt right on it's own as a surname

Alan Sugar just feels naked without the Sir in front of it

Lord Sugar makes him sound like something from Star Wars

So Sir Alan it is

I agree, I always have to think twice when writing his name as my mouth just utters the words 'Sir Alan' instead of 'Lord Sugar'.

Sugar was knighted in 2000 for services to business, the correct term for a knight of the realm is Sir.....

However in 2009 Gordon Brown offered him a peerage he accepted this elevation to the House of Lords and became Baron Sugar of Clapton. The Correct term of address and reporting for a Member of the House of Lords is Lord.....

The correct term when addressing him is Lord Sugar the first time you speak to him and sir on subsequent times and he should be referred to as Lord Sugar when talking about him.

That is of course of you are subject of HM The Queen Elisabeth and not some uppity Johnny Foreigner.

Bit stupid really...if Lord Sugar was really that offended and angry about Stuart's white lie he should have checked it himself first...it's ridiculously naive to just accept a CV as truth.

^my explanation that isn't cynical of the show's credibility :p

Oh right, that's quite interesting actually, I'll make sure to remember it should I ever meet him

I'm still going to call him Sir Alan though

Maybe Simon could take a cum stain out of Lord Sugar's book. :joker:

I almost feel sorry for him, he was ultimately set up to be dropped from a great height. He's a prize tool but he was set up, give somebody enough rope...
