Just when you thought the JJJ fans couldn't get anymore obsessive and weird, there was a small interview with Josie in one of the Sunday Paper magazines yesterday and amongst other things she mentioned how they have fans waiting outside their flat all the time, but she doesn't mind because they help her with the shopping!!! Please tell me she is not letting these people into her home?! I remember how these nutcases behaved on Twitter and DS during BB11, and quite honestly I wouldn't want them within a 200 mile radius of me if I was Josie. In fact I'd be looking at getting a restraining order against them.

What on earth would possess anyone to go and stand outside the home of a reality TV contestant, and more to the point how have they even managed to find out where they are living?! That's the creepiest part as far as I am concerned. Some serious stalking must have gone on to find that out.

I worry about what will happen when the business arrangement, sorry I mean relationship ;) ends? What will these people fill their lives with then? They seriously need to get a life!

There is a few I know off who are down right crazy, there's this 3 who always see them. Most people are perfectly fine though and only go to scheulded events. We're not all insane

Going to scheduled events is fine, but standing outside their house is not imo. I'd be a bit creeped out by that personally.

We are all! They're not the most sane people going, though the ones I know off are young teens, they're harmless, just weird.

Wherever there are fans of someone or something (doesn't matter what it is) there is a mad fringe which takes it too far.

This is the thing, it's got nothing at all to do with Josie and John James, really, they just have to find a target for this complete weirdness. It will probably be someone else in six months time. As that guy who tried to shoot Steve Martin in 'The Jerk' said....."random sonofabitch"........:joker: Josie and JJ are being incredibly naive to foster this kind of twisted affection.

Can you imagine what will happen when (and there will be a when) they split up? These weirdos won't be able to accept it and god knows what'll happen.

Idiotic bastards.

And OP, I know where they live, alot of people do.
Their home was on Channel 5 a few months ago, okay then maybe not ALOT of people seeing as it was on Channel 5 but that's obviously how they found out.

They live beside the River Thames if I recall correctly.

They did what?

It was a helpline, not a suicide line. It's cos they were clogging up some other phoneline and so they had to set up a different one. They were young teens at the time and when you're young, your whole life can revolve around a band.

That said I was distraught when the whole Mark Owen thing happened and the Robbie thing and when all the couples I used to love broke up so I can't talk.

From what I have observed, they're not the only BB11 housemates to have a few crazy fans. :p

It is quite alarming/frightening when something like hysteria can take hold, and common sense flies out the window to make some youngsters (and a few older) act inconsoleable to the point where parents must be tearing their hair out with worry when that happens, sometimes, just sometimes, it can be known to end tragically :(

I have never been obsessed with any reality, TV, film stars, etc; that I have ever gone stalkerish or cried when someone has split.

I know, I do wonder that myself. They have invested so much time and energy into the JJJ relationship, they'll probably all top themselves or something. I personally think that their lives must be pretty empty and devoid of any romance or excitement for them to get so fixated upon a relationship between two people from a reality TV show. Two people they've never met.

I think (well I know for looking at Twitter) that a lot of the most obsessive JJJ fans are women in their 30's and 40's who are married with kids. Bored, sexually frustrated, frumpy housewives for want of a better word. If Josie, who lets be blunt about it, is very ordinary and average looking and struggles with her weight, can get a man like John James, so can they. They project on her.

Yep Mario has loads, he even pretends to be one of his own fans ;):joker:

It is those fans who made the subliminal death threats who REALLY disturb me

Now they must be truly psychotic :nono:

TBH, whether it is John James, Josie, Dave, Mario, Ben, Rachel, Shabby or any other BB housemate (regardless) - while it's all fun during the show and in the few months afterwards and seeing how the housemates progressed - seeing as the mast majority of them go back to leading much the same lives as they had with perhaps a slightly more raised profile - unless the former housemate has really hit fame level in a massive way after the show... or are promoted by means of the media etc, I find the constant desire to follow them, in their personal lives and in anything that isn't being promoted - completely mental and on the verge of an obsessive, disturbed mind.

IMO - anyone who goes as far as to camp outside homes, follow them around (and I don't mean P.A's - as they are promoted with intention), wanting to know what they are doing, where and when, with who (when the 'object of their attention is not divulging this information themselvs for promotional means) - and this goes for those warped fans of A-list celebs too - indicates to me, an very unhealthy mind.

Most BB housemates go back to a relatively normal life, very much akin to the same life they led before - why their fans can't do the same - beats the hell out of me. :conf:

Once again peoples capacity to become obsessed with nothing stuns me. Go and find a good book or credible movie actor at least and get passionate and obsessive about that for christ sake.

Who the hell would bother stalking people who are just famous for sitting on their arse for the summer while cameras watch?

LOL @ how you take Josie's word as the truth. One thing we saw very clearly in BB11 is she is such a compulsive liar she doesn't even know when she's lying herself half the time.
