Tonight, for the first time ever, 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?' will be going live.

Chris Tarrant introduces a very special celebrity edition of the classic gameshow, which will be broadcast live for the very first time. The stars stepping up to try and win big money for their chosen charities are DJ Chris Evans with TV chef James Martin and Carol Vorderman with fashion stylist Gok Wan. How will the celebrities cope in the spotlight with the added pressure of a live broadcast?

Loved this show as a kid, then gave up on it. Seen so many changes in recent years, but I'm going to watch this tonight. Will be interesting to see.

It's a lot better when they just have the simple format of people answering questions with as much time as you want and the three standard lifelines. They dont need clocks, they dont need live shows, they dont need to introduce a new lifeline after £50,000. Having the timer just meant the first half of the show was Chris Tarrant frantically shouting at them and Ann Widdecombe taking complete charge.

It's also stupid that after £50,000 it goes to £75,000, that's far too small an increase for that stage in the show

Yeah, it might have worked better if it was pre-recorded, having it live made it a bit too hectic and panicky
