"Scotland Yard said the dog
- a Belgian mastiff - was shot dead by police firearms officers."
It may not be a Pure breed
The police are to tell the Media soon
As that breed is Rare.
And a younger puppy was removed.
I wonder if it was Protecting its baby
and viewed the Owner or Guest as a Threat?
They are to name her soon,
the Woman in her 40's

The dog may have been abused or trained to be aggressive. Either way this is tragic for all involved.

We do not know that.
If it was that Woman that did abuse that Dog
then its no wonder.
But when you consider a puppy was there (that was removed)
It could have been a Protection attack
But Until Police give the Info
we do not know

there was a guy on the beach with one those dogs where I live a few months back, he went for a ladies dog who was also walking there and ended up biting her when she tried to pull her dog away. Don't know much about that type of dog other than that.

I disagree. I think that any dog can turn, even if it has been treated perfectly or is the nicest dog in the world. If it's in a situation where it doesn't feel safe, its not going to react by not doing anything. Im not an expert on dogs, but I know I could never 100% trust one

exactly, a dog that big needs alot of space and alot of attention, people shouldn't be allowed to get them unless they're checked out properly.

Some Folks like you can not connect with dogs well.
Because you treat it well
the dog helps you.
Dogs do not turn - unless they are Abused
and /or not taken out.
