Is my iPod Touch in Danger? [Help!]

Hey Guys,
iTunes asked me to Download and Update this new thing for my iPod because as you all know Apple can't sit still for more than 3 bloody days without having to send out some pointless update for their stupid stuff.

Anyways,
When I clicked 'Download and Update' it said:

'You have purchased items in your iPod that aren't on your iTunes Library, You should copy these before updating your iPod.'

Now why would it give me that warning unless something horrible was about to happen?

Does this mean if I update my iPod they're going to DELETE all my songs and stuff?
I spent hours the other day pimping this iPod!

What should I do?
I need to update it so I can Jailbreak it, It isn't like most times when I would just ignore iTunes' daily updates.

Have any of you ever gotten that message in bold?

its nothing to worry about it just means there are songs stored on your ipod that arent yet stored in your library, just copy them to your library then update

ive been trying to jailbreak mine for days now and it wont work :bored:

My hate for these *****s at Apple has now increased though.
Since I installed their pathetic new update, I get a pop up on my iPod saying 'Charging is not support with this accessory' and now it won't charge!

I mean, What the hell is wrong!

Did this happen to anybody else or Scott did it happen to you?

Complete *****s, Seriously It was working fine until they made me install their bollocks new updates.

yeah that happened when i updated :L

i paid £60 for a docking station then it wouldnt let me charge through it :bored:

imma get mine jailbroked @ somewhere in town coz whenever i try to do it myself i always fail :bawling:
